iPod touch with camera leaked

Vietnamese website Tinhte, posted photos and video of an iPod touch with Camera. It is unclear if this is a future device or the device spotted on eBay late last year. There have been rumors of Apple working on an iPod touch with camera, but some technical issues prevented the company from introducing the device last year. However, tearing apart the current iPod touch model, clearly shows a placeholder for a camera in the top center. The sticker on the back of the device show a 2MP camera and 64GB. Based of the fact that next generation iPhone will house a 5MP camera, can be assumed that this iPod touch is an old prototype. The video shows the iPod touch connected to a computer and running some kind of a firmware testing software.

Tinhte has been very successful recently with leaked Apple products. Early week Tinhte posted photos and video of what it looks like a next generation iPhone. The device was similar to the lost/stolen Gizmodo device. Then, late last week Tinhte, provided photos and video of the upcoming MacBook. Apple released the new MacBook yesterday morning.

Unless there is a big surprise, I wouldn’t expect anything during WWDC next month. My guess would be October/November just before the holiday season begins. And this is just a guess
