Steve Jobs: ‘You won’t be disappointed’ on WWDC announcements

After the big announcements that Google made during its conference, Mac users are getting anxious about what Apple has for its own conference, the 2010 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Bryan Webster, a Mac user, emailed Steve Jobs and expressed his hope that Apple will make similar big announcements. “I hope you have some good WWDC announcements to blow [Google] out of the water,” Webster said in his email. Jobs replied with his trademarked one-line email from his iPhone. “You won’t be disappointed,” Jobs said. WWDC will be held June 7 through June 11 at San Francisco’s Moscone West. Apple is expected to announce the next generation iPhone 4G/HD among other things during the event. iPhone’s announcement might be more complicated this year due to the misplaced/lost/stolen? next generation iPhone prototype saga. Rumors exist that Apple will announce an iPhone version for CDMA networks as well. Verizon is using this network in the US.
