Apple’s CEO, Steve Jobs, took the stage and presented multiple facts about the iPhone 4 reception issue. Jobs said that this is a common problem with smartphones. Jobs also said that the return rate of iPhone 4 devices is very small as well as the calls AppleCare is getting about the issue. Call drops rate is also similar to iPhone 3GS. Jobs announced Apple will give free Bumper protection cases to all iPhone 4 customers through September 30. Apple also made announcements on White iPhone 4 availability, as well as availability of the device in more countries. At the end, Steve Jobs and two Apple executives hosted a Questions & Answers session with the media members that were invited.
