Apple today announced upgraded versions of its iPod music players. Steve Jobs took the stage at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco and demonstrated the Apple’s lineup for the holidays:
– New iPod shuffle, small and wearable, easy to use buttons, playlists, Genius mixes, VoiceOver, 15 hours play time, available in 5 colors for $49.
– New iPod nano, with multi-touch user interface, 46% smaller than previous version, clip, volume buttons, VoiceOver, FM radio, Nike+, pedometer, 24 hours play time, available in 7 colors, 8GB/$149, 16GB/$179.
– New iPod touch with Retina display, A4 chip, 3-axis Gyro, iOS 4.1 with Game Center, FaceTime with front camera, HD video recording, 40 hours play time, 8GB/$229, 32GB/$299, 64GB/$399.
All models will be available next week. Customers can pre-order today from Apple’s online store.
