Following reports early this morning that Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, will introduce the next generation iPad (iPad 2), Kara Swisher with AllThingsD reports that Jobs is “considering” an appearance.
According to several sources close to the situation, Apple CEO Steve Jobs–who is on a health-related leave from the company–is definitely considering an appearance at its big iPad 2 event tomorrow.
But the possibility–which would be a big sensation at the San Francisco gathering and has been subject to great speculation–is also just as definitely not confirmed as yet, stressed sources.
If he did appear, sources said Jobs would at least make a brief appearance onstage, along with other top company execs in showing off Apple’s latest version of it hugely popular tablet.
Swisher was the first to report Apple’s next iPad event.
Apple will unveil the next iPad on a scheduled event at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts tomorrow at 10.00p PST. According to reports the new device will be thinner, lighter and will come with a faster processor, more memory and a more powerful graphics processor. It will have a front-facing camera for features like video-conferencing, but the resolution of the new iPad’s display is expected to be similar to the first iPad contrary to reports suggesting a 2048 x 1536 screen.
