Apple created AirPlay as a method to stream media content from iOS devices and Macs to Apple TV. It is currently unknown if Apple will “open source” the protocol to be used in other devices. However, a user was able to create an add-on and now AirPlay is possible from iOS devices to Microsoft’s Windows Media Center.
The add-on is still in Beta but is worth trying it. If you like to experiment go to Thomas Pleasance personal web site and download it. Pleasance mentions that you will need Bonjour installed first on the Windows PC (as AirPlay scans for devices using Apple protocol). In addition this first Beta is developed and tested on Windows 7 platform. Some user reporting minor issues with Windows Vista.
If you are interested use the source link below and try it.
